Kisses deepen love. There are many types of kisses ranging from light kisses to deeper ones. Haram kissing, Halal kissing, kissing one’s wife and kissing another woman. Some of it is halal and some is Zina.
A passionate romantic and sexual kiss to one’s wife has special significance. One of the advantages of kissing is that it allows a lot of information to be exchanged, which subtly helps people to find a life partner.
What is zina in Islam?

Is kissing Zina?
Yes, kissing is Zina. But it is not real Zina, rather it is a form of Zina. That is the lips or face. For example, there is a zina of eyes, a zina of hands, and a Zina of feet. It is necessary to save such poets from sins. Because Allah Ta’ala has commanded in the Qur’an Sharif, do not even go to Zina. These include approaching Zina. To receive forgiveness, repentance must be done. Allah forgives these by some good deeds and charity.

As narrated by Abu Huraira (RA), the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, whatever Zina Allah has written on Bani Adam, he will do it; There is no escape from it. Jina of the eyes is seeing; The tongue being the Zina – speech, the heart desires and excites, and the genitals either implement it or not.”
In Sahih Muslim, there is also – a “Zina of two eyes is seeing, Zina of two ears is hearing, Zina of the tongue is speaking, Zina of hands is holding, Zina of feet is walking, heart desires, And the genitals implement that or they don’t.”

Questions about kissing a Zina
A person asked Shaykh Muhammad Salih al-Munajjid about whether it is permissible to kiss a woman friend, A woman kissed me. In response, I kissed her too and we continued to touch and kiss each other.
He immediately asked me for the ultimate sexual act. But I refrained from it for fear of God’s punishment for adultery. Will I be considered a fornicator (adulterer) because of what I have done? I just inserted the fingers.
Shaykh’s answer
By kissing and touching this woman you have committed the worst sin and zina. You must repent of this sin and make a firm decision to turn back from it. Besides, you have to stay away from all means of indulging in this kind of fitnah. For example, association with foreign women, seclusion, haram sight and making Dua etc.
Alhamdulillah Allah has saved you from the sin of adultery poets; Allah Ta’ala has announced a severe punishment for the sinner in this world and the hereafter. If this sinner is married he will be stoned to death. And if unmarried then he will be given 100 lashes. What a great competition of this woman in violating the boundaries of Allah!! He calls himself to the haram, indulges in obscenity and indulges in sinful activities without any fear. On the other hand, what a great favour of Allah Ta’ala has come to you at this extreme moment, you have been able to protect yourself and the last light of faith has burned in your heart and you have been able to prevent yourself from this great injustice.
Punishment of kissing in Islam

Ibn Battal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Sight and speech are said to be Zina because they are the inviters of real zina. That is why the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Sex either fulfils it or it does not.” Compiled from Fathul Bari.
So whoever commits Zina by kissing should repent immediately. Break up with the bad woman. Promiscuous women can make you lose faith, tarnish your sanctity, and make you join the ranks of sinners and sinners.
