Sex is an art. Your level of enjoyment will be more pleasurable when you know about it and gain ignorance. One way out of it is 69 positions. But the question arises in your mind whether this position is halal in Islam.
In the present time communication between people has increased many times more than in the past. Because nowadays we people from all over the world are connecting with each other through different websites and online based media including social media. As a result, I can share one’s thoughts with others.
In that context, the culture and thoughts of non-Muslims have constantly infiltrated the way of life of Muslims. One such thing is the 69 sex positions. It is greatly affecting the thinking of Muslims. These are questions that never came up in the past. So when we go to answer it, we don’t find many examples of it in the past.
Moreover, we answer the strange questions we ask you from Quran Hadith and quotes from Muslim scholars regarding sex law in Islam. So today’s question is whether 69 position is halal in Islam, we will try to provide the correct answer to the best of our ability.
Introduction of 69 position
69 French name soixante-neuf 69. It is a position in which the husband, wife or sexual partners place each other’s body in such a way that both can suck each other’s genitals in their mouths. In this position, the participants face each other’s genitals in a 69-like position, hence the asana’s name. This seat is preferred by many as both are satisfied simultaneously. However, its prevalence is mainly observed among homosexuals.
Methods and means
In this asana, each other’s penis or vagina will be close to each other’s face so that it can be masturbated at will. This seat is very enjoyable for boys and girls, girls and boys. Here both can be pooled together. Also this asana can be done with multiple partners. Many do double rimming (Anilingus) in this position.
69 position halal in Islam
Yes, 69 position is halal in islam. However, not all halal can be observed. For example, it is halal to eat soil, but will any sane person eat soil? I don’t think you will. Because if you start eating dirt, people will tell you that you have a problem with conscience.
The 69 position is exactly like this. This position is not expressly forbidden anywhere in the Quran and Hadith. So naturally it is halal.
But Muslims possess high character and elegant sense of taste and this position is an underdeveloped and indecent sex game. However, Islamic scholars have not declared it haram. But they have encouraged it in many ways. They termed it as a low-quality act of non-Muslim identity.
Evidence
Husband and wife are allowed to take pleasure from each other’s body in all ways in Islam. Because Allah says,
نِسَاوُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّىٰ شِئْتُمْ
‘Your wives are like fields for you; So go to your fields as you wish.’ (Surah Baqarah 223)
Elsewhere he says,
هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّ
“They are your clothing and you are their clothing.” (Surah Baqarah 187)
However, two things should be noted in this case. respectively-
1- Ways in which there is a clear document that taking pleasure is haram should be avoided. For example, anal intercourse and intercourse during menstrual and post-partum bleeding.
2- When husband and wife enjoy each other’s happiness, they should pay attention to Islamic ethics and morals.
69 and oral sex
The 69 position is basically – oral sex. Our Muslim cultures are also victims of the spread of Western subculture. Things that were not prevalent in the Muslim society before and no one would even question them are now spreading in our societies in epidemic form. Pornography is playing a big role in this.
Our Muslim scholars were the first to encounter questions about this from Muslims in the West. Some clearly stated that they had not faced such questions before coming to the West. They have been grappling with this question since the 80s-90s of the last century. I myself often face this question from my class 10th and 11th students. I see no way to avoid them.
The question they were discussing is, is oral sex halal? In this case, the opinion of some Shuyukhs is that it is makruh. Another group is of the opinion that if the haram can be avoided then it is halal, because there is no evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah that it is haram.
I have thought about it and noticed the following:
69 positions and deep thoughts
- During sexual excitement, two types of substances are released from the genitals. One is preseminal fluid or semen; It is universally impure. Another is Simeon or Money; It is pure according to some scholars and impure according to others. Another thing is that empty money is never released without mojja. Now if someone enters the genitals of his wife, he will enter uncleanness there. And it is not permitted by Sharia.
- Wife’s face is not genital. Allah Ta’ala said, Your women are like your fields; So go about your crops as you please and send for your future; And be saved from Allah’s displeasure. [2: 223] Seeds are sown in the field to produce crops in the future. And the door of seed sowing is the vagina. So the seed must be sown there; Not in the mouth.
- Talking about arousing the wife’s genitals with her husband’s mouth, it is a matter of disgusting taste. I attended a doctor’s seminar. There he showed that because the vagina and anus of the wife are very close, various types of viruses and bacteria gather here.
Know It’s deeply
It is a breeding ground for various types of STD germs. And it has now been proven that one of the major causes of mouth and throat cancer in men is oral sex by a man into a woman’s vagina. This cancer is caused by the HPV virus and is now proven to be caused by oral sex. It can also cause all kinds of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including AIDS.
I will give a link to the research on this in the comments, insha’Allah. In addition to pathogens, the wife’s saliva can go into the man’s mouth and stomach; We have already mentioned that semolina is impure.
- In the Qur’an we find guidance on where to have intercourse from verse 2:223. Oral sex is not mentioned in the hadith because the question did not arise during the time of Rasoolullah. Muslims didn’t think about it then. We have already seen that this question did not arise from Muslim societies either; Rather, it arose first from Muslims living in the West. So it was out of the question.
Considering all these things, what I see is that this type of action is not permissible in Shari’ah. The principle of Sharia for us is: “Do not harm, do not be harmed.” I want to leave it at that.
